Bad, Bad Beats

Here is the bad beat of the year, 2008. I was playing at a friendly (sorta of) game $5/$10 NL. It was 3am and I was hovering around even, bought in three times for $200 a pop and had around $525 in front of me. Anyways I get Qd and 10C in the hole and I am in the first spot, I like Q’s so I figure if I can limp in then I will see the flop and if there is a big raise I will fold. Three of us see the flop and it comes Q 8 Q three suits….whoopee the hand I was waiting for. I check and it checks around, turn comes a K (four suits up). First guy bets $100, I call, next guy calls $100 and raises $180 more, first guy calls and I push all-in, both guys call. It is a dream come true, they are both holding a single K!!! They are playing a one-outer for the river. Well because of what this page is called you can guess what happened next, the K comes on the river and those two split while I leave the came cursing under my breath.
